Without mastering the core technologies of smelting, casting, heat treatment and mechanical processing, it is impossible to produce roll products that meet the rolling conditions of high temperature resistance and high pressure resistance, and its status is self-evident.
"Steel thickness, forming, all rely on the roll to achieve." Zhang Yanchao, 34, has worked in Sinosteel Xingji for 12 years. Although he is young, he is a "Star" in the factory. Before he was recently named "Hebei craftsman", he has maintained the first-class product rate of 100% for 10 consecutive years, with zero quality accidents. He has been rated as the "labor model" and "professional model" of enterprises every year. No matter who he is, he always thumbs up when he mentions Zhang Yanchao.
Striving for perfection, he regards products as "children"
"Metallurgical plant" is the customary address of Xingtai people to Sinosteel Xingji. It was built in 1958, wind and rain for decades, the achievement of its thick background. In 2006, Xingji joined Sinosteel group. Since 2007, the production and sales scale of Sinosteel Xingji has ranked first in the world for consecutive years, with a global market share of more than 20%, and a domestic comprehensive market share of more than 50%. More than 70% of the plate, pipe, strip, H-beam and heavy rail in China are produced here.
Like many Xingtai people, Zhang Yanchao has deep feelings for "metallurgical plant". He graduated from Hebei Vocational College of mechanical and electrical technology, majoring in numerical control technology and application. It is the dream of him and many students to go to work in Sinosteel Xingji.
In August 2006, he went to Sinosteel Xingji for internship. As soon as you enter the factory, you will be attracted by all kinds of roll products. The more you know about it, the more deeply you love it. He made up his mind to make a show of himself.
A year later, he finally got into the job. At the beginning, he learned to renovate and finish turning with his master, from ordinary lathe to CNC lathe. With perseverance and diligence, he quickly mastered the basic skills of lathe workers. After only seven months of learning from the class, he began "individual combat".
To this day, he still clearly remembers the scene when he made the roller for the first time. During the Spring Festival in 2007, the master went home to celebrate the new year. According to his daily training experience, Zhang Yanchao skillfully opened the equipment, checked again and again according to the drawing requirements, and slowly "put the knife" to ensure that everything was safe.
"The key to finish turning roller is precision. The size control can't be missed. If it's long or short, it can't be wrong for an inch." Zhang Yanchao said that a roller can cost as little as 100000 yuan, or hundreds of thousands yuan more. Once a quality accident occurs and it is made into waste products, the waste will not only waste time and money, but also affect the corporate image. Therefore, it is not too much to ask for "excellence and perfection".
A roller, after many processes, "tempering", after finishing turning, has been basically completed. "At the last minute, we have to be very careful." Zhang Yanchao said that not producing waste products is not only a strict work standard, but also a respect for colleagues, oneself and products.
In Zhang Yanchao's opinion, every roller has life. Like their own "children", they need "pain", need "love", and "care" with extreme patience.
